윈도우즈8 알아두면 유용한 팁 모음

사무실에서 사용하는 프로그램들이『윈도우즈 XP』를 기준으로 만들어져 있어서 업무보는데 괜히 사소한 버그라도 있을까봐, 새로운 운영체제는 한번도 써보지 않았다. ★최신★ 노트북을 하나 살려니 천상 윈도우즈8을 쓰는 수밖에 없다. 그래서 여기에 사용하면서 알아 두어야 할 일을 정리해 둔다.


예전에 써 두었던 윈도우즈 XP의 명령어 (http://sealover.tistory.com/24)도 대부분 여전히 사용 가능하니 참고할만 하다.


  1. 윈도우즈8 사용 기본 팁

    2. 탐색기에서 화일 경로 복사하기; "Shift+마우스 오른쪽 클릭"을 하면 나타나는 "경로로 복사/Copy as path"를 선택하면 된다.
    3. 탐색기에서 화일 이름을 연속해서 변경; 변경할 화일들을 선택한 후에 "F2"를 눌러 하나를 변경하고 나서 "Tab"을 누르면 다음 화일의 이름 변경이 된다. 사진 자료 등의 썸네일을 보면서 이름을 변경하면 편리하다.
    4. 탐색기에서 화일 이름을 일괄 변경; 변경할 화일들을 선택한 후에 "F2"를 눌러 하나를 변경하고 나서 "Enter"를 누르면 "화일명 (1).확장자, 화일명 (2).확장자, 화일명 (3).확장자, 화일명 (4).확장자..."와 같이 변경 된다.

    2. 난 외국에서 노트북을 구매했던 터라 사자마자 바로 이것부터 했다. 예전보다 조아졌다. 편하게 세팅이 되지는 않지만 운영체제까지 모두 한글로 잘 바뀐다.
  3. 명령 프롬프트를 관리자 권한으로 실행하기.
    1. "Windows - X"를 눌러서 "명령 프롬프트(관리자)(A)"를 선택한다.
  4. 내 컴퓨터를 AP로 만들기는 아래 싸이트에 자세히 설명이 되어 있다.

    2. 먼저 관리자 권한으로 명령 프롬프트를 실행 한다. 명령 프롬프트에서 아래 명령어를 실행하면 임시 네트웍이 만들어진다.
      1. netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=<원하는 이름> key=<원하는 암호> 
    3. 그리고 다시 아래 명령어를 실행하면 AP가 활성화 된다.
      1. netsh wlan start hostednetwork
    4. 그 다음엔 네트워크 연결에 들어가사 현재 웹에 접속되어 있는 연결의 속성에서 공유를 선택하고 새로 만든 AP를 선택한다. 이 부분은 설명이 좀 애매하면 원 영어 블로그의 그림을 보시오.

윈도우즈 8을 며칠 사용해 보니 피식하는 웃음이 절로 나온다. 메트로 UI에 적응하려면 시간과 노력이 투자되어야 할것이다... 라고 생각했는데 메트로와 데스크탑이 완전히 이원화되어 있다. 


쉽게 말해서 메트로에서 돌아가는 프로그램 안쓸거면 데스크탑에 시작단추만 하나 추가해서 예전 윈도우처럼 쓰면 된다. 달라진게 없다. 시작 단추 없이 사용할 때도 윈도우즈 단축키만 알면 별 문제도 없다.


애플, 구글, 마이크로소프트가 각기 자기 영역이 있으면서 서로의 영역을 넘보고 있는데 나처럼 MS에 길들여진 사람은 사용자의 경험을 통제하는 (판매자가 제공하는 틀 안에서 제품을 소비하는) 애플을 본딴 메트로는 아직은 별 쓸모가 없다. 아직 메트로 전용 앱이 많이 없어서 대부분의 프로그램이 타일을 누르면 데스크탑으로 넘어가서 실행된다. 괜시리 이리저리 왔다리 갔다리 한다. 이 또한 낭비!


대단한 앱이 출현한다면 또 모르겠지만... 뭔가를 소비하기 위해서보다는 생산하기 위해서 (즉, 업무용으로) 컴퓨터를 사용하는 입장에서는 별 감흥이 없다. 여튼 이젠 있는 메트로 앱도 다 지우고 (자꾸 업데이트 하는게 귀찮아서) 그 쪽 화면은 구경도 안한다.


MS에서 오피스 2013을 메트로에 맞춰서 개발했다는데 그게 사람들을 메트로로 넘기는데 기여를 할런지는 또 두고볼 일이다.
